Brookshire is a small city in Waller County, about 34 miles west of downtown Houston with I-10 running straight to the city. That puts this home in the sweet spot: neighborhood quiet today, with Katy's shopping and dining about 10 to 15 minutes east and Houston reachable in roughly 30 minutes off-peak.
The city has grown steadily, from about 5,100 residents at the 2020 census to recent estimates above 5,700, all while keeping its ranching-town roots and a calendar of community events.
